Hibiscus Cutting Update

I have to get organized on all this so from now on Monday's will be Hibiscus Updates,Wednesdays will be Vegetable garden Updates and Fridays will be Flowers with a slideshow of whats blooming and Tuesdays and Thursdays might not be,  but occasionally will when we have a project, which I have several but will be saved for this winter..Tumbling composter is doing very well I'm just about ready for sifting..

HardyHibiscus Update

The first days the cuttings leaves drooped and the cutting couldn't stand on its own,I used a potted plant to hold it up.Now it can stand on its own and the leaves are no longer drooping and it looks very healthy at the moment.I've also noticed two white bumps that may be the start of roots, too early to tell just yet maybe next week we will know more.you can see them but not too clearly in the third shot..

Mother's Day

We had a wonderful day today,I went to my mothers and brought her two perennials that I grew, the labels faded, so I don't know what they were but they were very healthy and nice and I bought her a Hardy Hibiscus,Lady Baltimore.I enjoyed seeing my sister and her family and Mom and Pop,her gardens were absolutely beautiful, the peony's were in bloom and I've never seen such large blooms.I missed the lilacs they had just finished up but the mock orange was in bloom and lots of different color Iris's it was nothing but eye candy everywhere you looked, only thing is I forgot the camera..Maybe I will get over there again tomorrow sometime and take the camera this time..Then we met my daughter and grandbabys and her boyfriend and his mother and father and sister and sister's baby and we all had dinner. It was for all the moms and it was a very nice time.So Monday will be hibiscus cutting update and vegetable garden update and Tuesday hopefully will be Mom's Garden
